Job Description

The ideal candidate will understand business process management and business requirements of the customers and translate them to specific software requirements encompassing functional and technical requirements. The candidate will serve as an information resource, by providing expert knowledge of U.S. State and Federal statutes and regulations, and financial aid office practices in other states. The candidate will assist our client to define statewide standard practices and reporting requirements, perform analyses and develop plans based on gathered requirements to meet the customer’s goals.

 

Required Skills

  • Shall demonstrate excellent writing and oral communications skills in English.
  • Must possess analytical/critical problem-solving skills
  • Self starter
  • Experience and working knowledge of Higher Education Industry  
  • Must have used Agile Software Development Methodology and should have performed Epic & User Story creation, Agile ceremony facilitation and act as a liaison between business units and information technology teams
  • Must establish and maintain positive client business relationships across the organization, including guiding others in understanding client business processes, and solution implementation
  • Working experience with JIRA and Confluence
  • At least 5 years of experience working in a business analysis role

Years of Experience

  • At least five (5) years working in a business analysis capacity in a higher education institution

 

 

Education Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Economics, Information Technology or related field

 

 

Certifications

  • Scrum Master (Preferred)
  • SAFe (Preferred)

Attain Partners is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Individual base salary for this position is unique to each candidate and will commensurate with experience, education, and skills, ranging between $90,000 - $120,000. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
