Job Description:

Position Summary:

The Business Analyst responsibilities include data analysis, clean-up and maintenance to support territory development, targeting and sales effectiveness metrics, training and support for sales CRM users as well as ad hoc projects to support continuous improvement efforts for the North America and EMEA commercial teams. Business Analysts will develop training materials, provide sales support, analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
  • Create dashboards and presentations to communicate analytic findings with direction from team members
  • Support data visualization to identify new process improvement opportunities
  • Develop knowledge of key lean tools such as PSP (Problem Solving Process) and TPI (Transactional Process Improvement) to use in identifying improvement opportunities, prioritization, automation, etc.

  • BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics

  • At least five years’ experience in relevant roles including at least two years’ experience support sales

  • Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst

  • Demonstrated experience with projects that portray an understanding of how to use data to drive business decisions

  • Experience working with territories, sales, demand, CRM, product and forecasting data to drive business decisions

  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and data segmentation techniques

  • Advanced Excel knowledge to include complex logic, index/match functions, pivot tables and visual basic

  • Knowledge of Tableau, Python and Microsoft CRM a plus but not required (can be trained)

  • Ability to build a story with data and to use data to explain business events and drive insight that will guide organizational responses to business event

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver training and support via virtual engagements as well as in person if needed to support sales team

  • Adept at writing queries to pull data from SQL database structures, analytics reporting and presenting findings succinctly and visually to support quick understanding

Target Market Salary Range:

Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
