Business Analyst Intern (Undergraduate - Summer)

This role is appealing because it offers candidates a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in critical areas such as invoice analysis, risk-reward assessment, and process improvement, providing a deeper understanding of financial operations in the Vendor Management domain. Interns will have the autonomy to work on a capstone project, which they can present to leadership, allowing them to make meaningful contributions. The intern will perform tasks such as:
- Shadowing experienced analysts to understand complex processes
- Attending vendor and internal meetings to get familiar with our ongoing processes.
- Supporting the creation of financial or operational reports.
- Collaborating with team members on existing projects
- Assisting in the development of automated solutions for repetitive tasks
- Working on their capstone project
The ideal candidate should have:
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and MS Office tools.
- Basic knowledge of Power BI or any data visualization tool.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently and be a self-starter, take initiate in cross team collaborations.
Experience/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college, preferably in a field related to the hiring department through the internship period.
Hours: 40hrs/wk. (12-week Program)
Pay Range: $17-23/hr.
