About the role:
As a Business Analyst Senior, you will work as part of a team in a development setting. You must be self-motivated, proactive, and an out-of-the-box thinker, ready to find new and better ways to help our clients be successful.

What you will be doing?

  • Researching financial instruments and applicable Statutory regulatory reporting guidance with a view toward software product implementation
  • Research regulatory guidance outside of Statutory, like GAAP and Tax
  • Write clear and well-structured business requirements and documentation
  • Communicate and review requirements with relevant stakeholders
  • Validate that implemented product functionality meets business requirements
  • Produce client webinars and white papers
  • Perform second and third-level client support
  • Communicate with clients to better understand their needs
  • Coordinate with Product Strategy, Development, Sales and other internal groups to develop product roadmap and elaborate on new functionality

What you will need:

  • Knowledge of equity- and debt-based financial instruments
  • Knowledge of Insurance Statutory accounting
  • Knowledge of end-to-end system development life cycles
  • Ability to communicate ideas and information both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional manner
  • Strong understanding of FIS business strategy and how products or initiatives contribute to overall FIS goals
  • Strong organizational, analytical, research, and problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills: establishing personal and professional relationships among diverse internal and external publics
  • Ability to utilize judgment in the decision making process and decisions related to job tasks
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality

  • Prior experience with insurance investments software
  • Demonstrated understanding of US Insurance Regulatory requirements

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $102,560.00 - $172,280.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
