Position Description: 

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our PAR Product team. This individual will analyze data, processes, and systems to build recommendations that drive business growth and efficiency. The role is key in aligning our product offerings with PAR’s broader strategy and customer needs. You’ll collaborate across product, engineering, and business teams while delivering clear documentation and insights that support enterprise decision-making.

You will report directly to the PAR Product Line Leader. This role is fast-paced and requires someone who thrives in ambiguity, communicates clearly, and knows how to balance priorities.

What We’re Looking For:

Requirements:

 • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role

• At least 3 years of experience in the hospitality industry

• Experience with B2B or B2B2C enterprise-grade applications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in data analysis tools and project management platforms

• Knowledge of business analysis best practices and methodologies

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proven track record of success in agile environments

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field (preferred)

• Technical proficiency or familiarity with Cloud Services and APIs

 • Ability to simplify complex ideas for various stakeholders

• Comfortable working cross-functionally across departments and levels

• Experience in fast-paced, data-driven, tech-forward companies

 

Unleash your potential: What you will be doing and owning:

 • Gather and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, and data analysis

• Define project scope and objectives with stakeholders

• Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities

• Create business documentation including use cases, process flows, and requirements

• Evaluate current systems and propose areas for improvement

• Partner with IT teams to ensure business needs align with technical solutions

• Conduct user acceptance testing and provide post-implementation support

• Track project KPIs and deliver insights to stakeholders

• Participate in Agile Scrum events as a Product team representative

• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment on priorities

• Help coordinate large solution deliveries with the broader product team

• Build strong internal relationships across business and tech teams
