Business Analyst (CONTRACT) REMOTE

Broadridge is hiring! We are looking for a Business Analyst to work remotely on contract basis, part-time. The BA will drive the collation, creation and maintenance of various types of business and user documentation. This individual will work with the Business, IT and functional partners and senior leads to gain and analyze business requirements and build crucial business documents, including but not limited to business requirements documents, user stories, process flow documentation, user documentation, etc. 

Work-Mode: This is a remote role where you will work off-site. Travel is limited and generally used for team learning and collaboration meetings.  

Job Responsibilities:

To keep our data base current a couple times a year we need a business analyst resource to update the classification of data (website content) into product categories that are used in several Advisor Target (AT) products.

• Maintain an understanding of the source systems and reference data
• Interpret trends in the data and asset management industry.  Work with stakeholders to help them understand the data dynamics to identify gaps/additional classifications/overlap etc.
• Work with the AT team for training, resources, SME expertise, troubleshooting and to identify and resolve data issues. Apply critical thinking to quickly resolve issues.
• Identify and define data quality improvements.
• Perform other related duties as requested.

Qualifications

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required.
• Working knowledge of asset management market /products/asset class/practice management categorization
• Project & Data Management experience
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members
• Ability to quickly identify business problems/opportunities
• Demonstrate interest in core business problems and challenges unique to the asset management industry.

• Hourly range $50-60/hr
