Brand Sales Specialist, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (up to 100% telecommuting permitted): Lead global contract and negotiations for System Z (Mainframe) area. Support large complex deals and modernize or update a legal repository for the company. Create contract terms to reflect the new commercial/business models developed for mainframes. Develop laboratories ways to commercialize and approach the market with the new features to modernize the mainframe platform. Become the on-premises infrastructure commercial terms consonant with the new hybrid cloud technologies terms and conditions. Carry out sales leadership for worldwide Z Micro-Code Offering Management for Z. Perform mainframe/microcode solution selling (hardware, software and services bundles). Sell solutions with solid knowledge in areas such as disaster recovery, test/development modernization, business analytics, packaged applications such as payments, credit cards, and blockchain along with the server platform. Work with internal consulting team to provide infrastructure guidelines and the best solution for the customers based on industry specific demands and best Z infrastructure configurations. Organize, structure and articulate the IT solutions and relate it to client’s needs with proved record of achievements in the mainframe area. Represent the Z /microcode brand on all economic studies provided to the customers, supporting with TCO tools and assessments. Engage with customers to provide company’s technology products and solutions that can solve their business problems in more than one segment of market, demonstrating on these engagements, deep understanding of the architecture and technical nuances of Z platform that can create a business differentiator to the customer. Utilize: Mainframe Microcode Features, Mainframe Solutions for Disaster and Recovery, Mainframe Solutions for Security, Mainframe Solutions for Analytics, Legal Contracts and Obligations regulations, Legal Intellectual Propriety regulations. Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and two (2) years of experience as a Sales Specialist or related. Two (2) years of experience must include utilizing Mainframe Microcode Features, Mainframe Solutions for Disaster and Recovery, Mainframe Solutions for Security, Mainframe Solutions for Analytics, Legal Contracts and Obligations regulations, Legal Intellectual Propriety regulations. $200,956.44 to $250,000.00 per year.
