THE JOB

The Brand Director will oversee 5 Senior Venue Brand Managers, and their respective multi-million-dollar strategic sponsorships, markets, venues, as well 10+ team members within the West Region. They will be involved in maximizing the value of client relationships and performance of these marketing programs, while providing senior level support and leadership to the Venue Brand Management Business Unit teams in the West Region and respective Regional Sales and National Brand Management team members with a focus on:

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

Regional Clients:

  • Lead management of collective West Region clients for approximately $25M revenue 

  • Manage financials including forecasting and profitability for West Region clients

  • Review and edit relevant deal points and contracts for West Region client and actively work with all applicable departments to complete the contract process

  • Ensure delivery of contractual agreements in West Region (for both regional and national sponsors) including planning, execution, measurement and reporting and proactively resolve any challenges with asset delivery

  • Assist team in achieving ROI goals that will ensure maximum renewal opportunity

  • Establish and grow relationships with key client contacts outside of the day-to-day relationships and attend key client meetings throughout the year as needed; and develop creative concepts and business development opportunities

  • Oversee the development and delivery of regional program recaps in a timely manner with analytical business results and key insights to grow the business

  • Explore marketing trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to add value to sponsorship programs

Leadership

  • Strategically contribute as a senior leader of the Venue Brand Management team, in partnership with the Venue Brand Management Team’s East Region Brand Director, Onboarding and Training Director, and Staffing and Logistics Director

  • Manage Senior Venue Brand Managers and Venue Brand Managers in the West Region with the goals of contributing to the achievement of divisional missions, team growth and development, fostering employee empowerment, and actively recognizing employee achievements at the forefront

  • Develop and grow relationships with key Live Nation teams (Regional Sales, National Brand Management, Promotions, Legal, Finance, Venues, etc.) to ensure the desired program delivery and results for clients

  • Manage forecasting and expenses for the Venue Brand Management team budget

  • Fully understand the Live Nation inter-departmental ecosystem and work directly with all teams to understand and optimize fulfillment processes

  • Support the Venue Brand Management team-wide development initiatives, with a proven ability to delegate and prioritize appropriately

  • Additional responsibilities as requested from Manager and/or Senior Management as requested

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

Background & Experience:

  • 4+ years direct experience in brand management, client service, media or entertainment, and/or marketing consulting, advertising or activation agencies

  • Must have brand management, leadership, and event experience; music industry experience a plus

  • Experience with marketing programs that blend physical and digital components preferred

  • Success working with cross-functional teams

  • Knowledge of consumer and market research with ability to implement into decision-making and management

  • Track record for developing and growing client relationships

Qualifications:

  • Passion for excellence and executing high-profile marketing programs

  • Superior project management skills including managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Respectful, clear, and effective communication skills; written, verbal, active listening via presentations

  • Ability to proactively identify potential problems and utilize sound decision making to implement the best solutions

  • Proven ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure

  • Deep curiosity about emerging marketing trends and ability to integrate into client programs

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint and Excel

  • Experience with project and data management systems such as Salesforce, TRAK, and Asana, is a plus

  • Strong passion for music, including knowledge of current/relevant artists and trends

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of time or more annually, often nights and weekends and occasionally without significant advanced notice

California Hiring Pay*: $75,000 - $85,000
