Brand Coordinator for Church Resources Website

Salem Church Products (SCP), a division of Salem Media Group, operates a network of e-commerce websites that equip church leaders and pastors with resources to help do the work of ministry. Our websites offer products to churches, which include professional digital resources for worship, sermon preparation, children’s ministry, and staffing solutions. We are passionate about equipping local churches and the leaders that serve them. 

About this role: 

SCP is seeking a dedicated Brand Coordinator to work with the Staffing and Sermon Resources team to oversee the daily operations for our sermon resource site (SermonSearch.com). This role’s ultimate responsibility is to ensure that this site provide the best user experience and products to our customers. This is done through daily maintenance of the site’s administrative responsibilities, overseeing exceptional customer service efforts, and executing projects to achieve business initiatives. 

 

In addition, the Brand Coordinator plays a crucial role in the overall team of SCP by working closely with the Marketing and Development teams that support all of our websites.

 

What we are looking for: 

We are looking for a team player that wants to help all churches with sermon resources through technology. This means that the ideal candidate would have experience in the church and have a good understanding of technology as it relates to e-commerce platforms. This is a remote position so we are looking for someone who has strong time management skills and communication skills as a member of the Salem Church Products team. Do you love the church? Responsibilities

  • Manage the customer experience by serving our customers in a timely and helpful way with questions submitted.
  • Work closely with the marketing team and brand manager to ideate and fulfill marketing campaigns and objectives
  • Write marketing and email copy. 
  • Update website content daily.
  • Upload new products (Sermons) from our contributors daily.
  • Partner with Brand and Relationships Manager and stakeholders to understand business objectives and deploy strategies to achieve these goals.
  • Identify website improvement initiatives for site functionality and user experience in collaboration with our web development team.
  • Ensure website content accuracy and relevancy for users.
  • Employ merchandising best practices for our e-commerce business.
  • Utilize customer feedback to identify and recommend enhancements that meet user needs.
  • Ensure effective communication among cross-functional teams to align on and achieve business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated curiosity and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience in website operations or a related field.
  • Strong enthusiasm for customer service and working in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction both within and outside the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines.
  • A desire to take on varied responsibilities and become an expert in website operations.
  • Driven and self-motivated work ethic.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Previous experience with project management software such as Asana, Jira, or similar.
