Purpose of Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
The Department of Biomedical Sciences is looking to hire a UND student to work in the office to assist the Administrative Staff with day-to-day tasks. This is an academic year appointment to be continued through the summer months.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Use WASP software for inventory offices and laboratories Assist with UND Marketplace:
- Order lab supplies
- Run reports
- Review of orders
- Fulfillment and status of receipts and payments of orders
- Contact vendors with questions regarding shipments and invoices
- Perform a variety of office duties - (Essential)
Required Competencies
- Organizational skills including filing and attention to documentation of orders
- Must have good working habits; punctual, reliable, and flexible
- Ability to keep records confidential (position involves multiple databases and confidential recordkeeping)
- Excellent and accountable written and verbal communication skills
Minimum Requirements
- UND Undergraduate or graduate student
- Working knowledge of Word and Excel
- 12-month availability
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
