What’s unique about this role?
The Billing Analyst I, is responsible for responding to billing inquiries and issues such as clarification of items on bill statement, billing discrepancies, etc. Reviews the inquiry/issue based on customer's bill statement, billing and consumption history, etc. Responds to customers with appropriate information or resolves billing issue in accordance to established procedures. Documents and maintains records of customer billing inquiry/issue and resolution information
What will this person do?
- Generate accurate and detailed invoices and supporting documentation, generally handling the most complex and largest cases
- Collect and analyze data from web hosting platforms
- Ensure billing issues are researched and resolved
- Own preparation of monthly sales forecasts
- Assist in month end close process
- Participate in and lead strategic initiatives such as pricing changes and service offering language creation
- Ensure billing department performance metrics are tracked and reported on
- Lead weekly billing team meetings
- Participate in and lead training of all Billing Analyst levels
- Generate ad hoc financial reporting for the sales team and department heads

- AA degree required, Bachelor’s preferred
- 1-2 years accounting or billing experience
- Strong communication skills (written and spoken)
- Ability to utilize excel in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment
- Detail oriented and proactive
- Organized, have excellent follow through, extremely reliable and responsive
- Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook
- Knowledge of QuickBooks a plus
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Duties are performed in a typical office environment while at a desk or computer table.
- Duties require the ability to use a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material, in a quiet and professional setting.
- Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).

As required by applicable pay transparency laws, Lighthouse complies with compensation disclosure requirements for roles that may be hired in locations under these requirements. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include a wide array of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic location, or other relevant factors. The salary range for this position may be tailored to be lower or higher in different talent markets.
The expected pay for this role will range from $51,073 to $64,600 per year. This role will be eligible to participate in an annual bonus or incentive program.
