Bilingual Tester (French/English) – 360° Interactive Video Project

We seek a Bilingual Tester to support the development of a 360° interactive video training project at the University of Ottawa. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both French and English and have experience testing VR/AR or interactive video applications. The tester will be responsible for ensuring the functionality, quality, and user experience of 360° video content, ensuring it meets the project’s educational and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test 360° interactive videos across multiple platforms.
• Conduct functional, usability, and performance testing to identify and report bugs.
• Ensure that all content is fully accessible and user-friendly in both French and English.
• Collaborate with the development team to validate fixes and improvements.
• Provide detailed feedback on content flow, interactivity, and language accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Fluent in both French and English (written and spoken).
• Experience in testing VR/AR or interactive video content.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify technical and linguistic issues.
• Familiarity with educational content or immersive technologies is a plus.

Location

Aequilibrium is remote-first, and we continue to have quarterly in-person engagement events to nurture a healthy AEQ culture. Depending on your role, you may be required to be on-site from time to time to support the needs of our business. 

Compensation

The typical salary range for this position is: CAD $60K - $90K annually. Salary offered will be based on skills, experience, and market data. We offer a competitive overall compensation package with remote work, fully paid for comprehensive benefits, and an opportunity to work with a talented team and exciting emerging technology.
