Description

This role is responsible for managing BetterLesson’s proposal process. This role prepares responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Tenders, Requests for Information (RFIs), and grant proposals relevant to our service offerings. The Bids and Proposals Manager also manages necessary contracts to support our sales strategy. This role collaborates with BL subject matter experts, internal teams (i.e. Sales, Product marketing) as well as BL customers, and external partners to produce proposal documents that convey the BL value proposition for our professional learning solutions. This role reports to the Chief Revenue Officer.

Here are some of the things you can expect to accomplish in this role:

• Manage the execution of our bids and proposals process to identify potential business opportunities aligned with the BL Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy.
• Identify and evaluate potential bid opportunities daily, assessing their strategic fit and financial viability.
• Manage the proposal life cycle for funded opportunities in alignment with the GTM strategy.
• Builds and maintains relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to enhance information-gathering practices and proposal submission processes.

About You

• You have experience managing proposals in the K-12 educational industry.
• You have experience in writing grants and bids and replying to requests for proposals in the education industry.
• You have knowledge of common K-12 procurement portals, sites, and other solicitation platforms.
• You have knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements within the K-12 education industry. 
• You have knowledge of the K-12 educational industry.
