Role Overview
The Benefits Manager will lead the end-to-end administration of our comprehensive benefits programs across multiple entities. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong operational skills to manage complex benefits systems, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance across various regulatory environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the benefits team, including managing and developing the Benefits Analyst
- Manage relationships with multiple benefits vendors and service providers
- Lead the planning and execution of annual open enrollment processes- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including ACA, ERISA, and local Puerto Rico regulations
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize benefits offerings and administration
- Provide expert guidance on benefits-related issues to employees and leadership
- Collaborate with the Director of Total Rewards, HRIS, and People Analytics on strategic initiatives and technology implementations
- Monitor and analyze benefits data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Manage the resolution of complex benefits issues and escalations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 years in a benefits role required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred
- Proficiency in HRIS and benefits administration systems required
- In-depth knowledge of benefits laws and regulations, including ACA, ERISA, and COBRA required
-Experience managing benefits for multiple entities and/or in complex organizational structures required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills preferred- Data analysis and reporting skills preferred- Vendor management and project management experience preferred- Team leadership and development experience preferred- Attention to detail and accuracy skills required- Strategic thinking and planning skills required
Salary Range: $110,000-$130,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
