We are seeking a motivated and talented Benefits Director to lead our benefits programs. Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, the Benefits Director will be instrumental in continuing to build our people-focused culture through partnership and collaboration with our Human Resources and Operations teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead with empathy, strong communication, and a people-focused approach to achieve successful results across the company.
- Support and shape the company’s people-focused culture by promoting inclusivity, diversity, and collaboration by reinforcing positive workplace values and encouraging teamwork through outward messaging to potential candidates.
- Provides strategic direction and oversight for the company’s benefit plans and leave program initiatives to support company initiatives and values.
- Partner with Benefits & Retirement plan advisors to recommend programs for the organization by assessing employee & company needs, plan data and understanding related laws. Review reports monthly and provide any significant trends or information to CHRO and CFO.
- Effectively and consistently manages relationship with healthcare and benefit providers, benefits advisors, and all other key stakeholders associated with providing benefits.
- Lead review of benefit programs during due diligence processes to identify any challenges or transition issues that may arise as part of integrating the new team into Verdantas programs.
