Get to Know the Opportunity:
Benefitfocus is searching for a Project Manager to join our TangoHealth team, servicing our ACA platform. This is a remote position that may require some travel from time to time. The Project Manager would coordinate all aspects of a product or service integration for external customers, from inception to installation. This includes extensive interaction with sales, customer service, product development, and other cross-functional teams. The Project Manager is typically focused on the delivery of new or enhanced products to improve customer satisfaction using technology. Project management skills, rather than technical skills, are key, but a strong technical background is often required to manage competing interests. The Project Manager oversees schedules and cross-functional deliverables to ensure successful ACA platform integration.

Please Note:  Work location for this role is FLEXIBLE! This position allows 100% remote work from home or allows work to be performed in any of our major office locations with a hybrid schedule. 

The Contributions You’ll Make:

  • Manages one or more projects of large scope and/or high complexity.
  • Manages a small program, providing guidance to project teams.
  • May be assigned to high criticality projects.
  • Has regular internal and/or external stakeholder interaction.
  • Recommends changes to policies that affect the business unit or the organization and identifies areas of improvements that could be made to procedures, policies, or processes.
  • Effectively speaks in front of large teams and communicates to senior and executive audiences in oral and written form.
  • Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet objectives.
  • Is accountable to management based on meeting objectives and schedules.
  • Frequently interacts with customers and/or functional peer group managers regarding projects between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company.
  • Provides high-level coaching and mentoring to Associate Project Managers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience:

  • 3+ years of related experience in project management and/or employee benefits.
  • Experience with data processing, (extract, translate, load).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, inclusive of preparing well-designed email communications and clear instructions over the phone.
  • Ability to multi-task multiple issues and work well in a team environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting technical errors that require quick thinking, independent thought, and group collaboration.
  • Self-starter, able to learn and retain technology products and procedures, success in managing toward established metrics.
  • Comfort and ability to excel in a high-activity and high-uncertainty environment.
  • A high degree of initiative, intelligence, contagious enthusiasm, and passion.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of applications, (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

Preferred Knowledge & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
  • ACA experience highly preferred.
  • Experience working directly with vendor partners.

Compensation Pay Disclosure:

Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya may offer incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

$75,000-$95,000
