About the Role

As a Benefit Configuration Analyst, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of critical information within our claims databases. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements for our rules engine and serving as the initial configuration analyst, creating and managing rules within our new technology platform.

What You'll Do 

  • Implement and maintain benefit matrices for all Sidecar Health products
  • Conduct root cause analysis and resolve benefit and pricing-related claims payment issues 
  • Define requirements for our rules engine and serve as the initial configuration analyst
  • Assist with project requirements and staff new technology features on the roadmap 
  • Analyze and interpret data to determine appropriate configuration changes 
  • Interpret specific state and/or federal benefits, contracts, and additional business requirements, converting these terms to configuration parameters 
  • Code, update, and maintain benefit plans, provider contracts, fee schedules, and various system tables through the user interface 

What You'll Bring 

  • 2+ years of experience in benefit configuration or a related field 
  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of healthcare benefits, contracts, and fee schedules 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment 
  • Experience working with rules engines and configuration tools (Preferred)
