Job DescriptionThe Accelerated Deployment and Decision Support (ADDS) Center at NREL is seeking a technically-focused and experienced research analyst in solar energy systems cost modeling and component analysis focused on inverter components. The mid-level position will involve leading work in three inter-related areas: (1) developing technical cost models to analyze the costs of solar and battery solar power electronics systems, (2) analyze and report on the domestic supply chain (including imports), including principal suppliers of products and components, (3) working with internal and external partners to collect primary data to populate the models, and (4) utilizing the models to support the evaluation of targeted R&D opportunities, technology advancements, and manufacturing developments as they relate to a range of market and policy issues.
