Purpose of Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist baker with daily production of cookies, muffins, bread, donuts, and desserts
- Pan up product, scale recipes, and set-up carts for next day
- Maintain sanitation standards
- Help maintain storeroom
- Follows proper handling and storage procedures in the serving and holding of food
- Cleans and sanitizes kitchen equipment correctly
- Washes dishes
- Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements
- Must be able to work with the preparation and disposal of fish, poultry, beef, lamb, pork and other meat products in professional culinary commercial kitchen.
- Must be able to adhere to all safety and sanitation policies which include removal of all jewelry and piercings except for a plain wedding band while working in our facilities.
- Hairnets and beard restraints are also a requirement in our food preparation areas
- Enrolled in a minimum of 1 credit for the employed academic semester
