Aleut Federal is looking for a Back-End Drupal Developer that can create complex websites to join our team. You will work with an integrated team to plan for and migrate to Drupal and redesign existing static websites, implementing custom, core, and contrib modules, with accessible standards-based code. For this role, you will:
- Work collaboratively and closely with the Agile program team, including designers, developers, QA engineer, Scrum Master and Product Owner, ensuring overall program success
- Determine requirements, create user stories, estimate levels-of-effort, and keep tickets updated in Jira, participating with the team in all scrum ceremonies
- Create and implement Drupal migration strategies
- Develop successful websites within the Drupal CMS, custom module development, configuration management/features, working collaboratively with front-end developers and design team members, as needed
- Conduct code peer reviews and collaborate with developers and testers
- Test, merge, and commit code
- Participate in client meetings, as needed, coming prepared to speak to your user stories, explain solutions in plain language, and make recommendations on approach
