Who We're Looking For

We are looking to hire an Azure DevOps Engineer with experience in cloud infrastructure and automation to support and optimize our Azure GovCloud environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure as code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud architecture, with the ability to influence and guide architectural decisions.

The candidate's technical proficiency should be complemented by a consultant mindset, including excellent communication skills, a problem-solving mentality, and the ability to maintain a positive attitude in high-pressure situations. Overall, we are looking for a candidate who is excited about being part of a high performing group and will be energized to help the team succeed. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage Azure GovCloud infrastructure using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
  • Lead architectural discussions and decisions to optimize performance, security, and scalability within Azure environments.
  • Automate infrastructure deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
  • Implement and manage security best practices in Azure networking, IAM, and compliance policies.
  • Monitor and optimize Azure resources for cost-efficiency and performance.
  • Collaborate with software engineers and security teams to align DevOps practices with application development goals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, ensuring system reliability and uptime.
  • Manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerized applications.
  • Support the implementation of logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions using tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.

Some Must-Haves

  • 5+ years of experience in Azure cloud engineering or DevOps roles.
  • Strong experience with Azure GovCloud environments and compliance considerations.
  • Proficiency in Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates for infrastructure automation.
