Azure Cloud Solutions Architect

Key Role:

Design and implement cloud solutions while ensuring seamless integration with existing AWS infrastructure. Maintain responsibility for architecting robust, scalable systems using Azure services, with a focus on security, performance, and cost optimization. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision, and mentor or supervise employees in both firm and technical competencies. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation
• Experience in Azure services including Functions, Logic Apps, and API Management
• Experience with Azure AD B2C, Blob Storage, and CosmosDB
• Experience with cloud security and compliance requirements, and infrastructure as code, including Terraform
• Experience handling enterprise support and access management
• Experience in serverless architectures
• Knowledge of Azure Monitor and Application Insights
• Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote environment
• Bachelor’s degree
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience in AI/ML infrastructure deployment
• Experience with vector databases and AI workloads
• Experience with reverse engineering
• Knowledge of AWS services for multi-cloud architecture
• Security certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
