Role Summary:

Saks is seeking a highly motivated AVP of Technology, Corporate Systems for its Finance, Sales Audit, Asset Protection, HR, and Payroll portfolios. This strategic leadership role will be responsible as the key leader to liaison between senior C Suite business/technology leaders and our third party vendors to sustain our existing portfolio of legacy and SAAS applications while creating our go forward multi-year technology modernizations efforts for our expansive portfolio. In this role you will be responsible for managing a diverse and remote workforce team.

As the AVP of Technology - Corporate Systems you will:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive corporate systems strategy aligned with the organization goals and business objectives.

  • Provide vision and direction for the corporate systems teams, ensuring effective management and optimization of HR,Payroll,Finance,Sales Audit and Asset Protection systems.

  • Oversee the implementation,maintenance and upgrades of corporate systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.

  • Foster a culture of innovation,collaboration,and continuous improvement within the team.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership, and key stakeholders to understand business needs and develop solutions that meet their needs.

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization,automation, and streamlining ,implementing changes that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with external and internal partners, vendors, and service providers.


 

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent relevant experience 

  • 10+ years of proven information technology leadership experience leading Finance and HR information systems with an in-depth knowledge of Workday financial management and Human capital management systems.

  • Experience managing and overseeing technology modernizations for an entire suite of applications, inclusive of roadmap, Return on Investment(ROI), and resource and project plans to successfully deliver
