AVP, Financial Analyst, Relationship Banking

JOB SUMMARY: The AVP, Financial Analyst, Relationship Banking is responsible for developing and managing the profitability and pricing recommendations of the Relationship Banking consumer and commercial deposit products and services. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and perform product and treasury service profitability analysis and reporting for Relationship Banking consumer and commercial deposit products 
• Prepare pricing and rate review, competitive analysis and comparison to key performance indicators to present rate and pricing recommendations 
• Support integration of client and product profitability into business decision making, impacting areas including product simplification, sales strategy, and pricing decisions 
• Assess third-party spend for Relationship Banking to ensure accurate billing 
• Support client billing initiatives to ensure accurate profitability data 
• Assist the Relationship Banking team to develop business cases for new or modified products and services and assists in completion of existing product reviews 
• Collaborate closely with the Relationship Banking, Data, and Finance teams 
• Support other general financial analysis duties  
• Develop and analyze reports to measure deposit growth and cost of funds per branch, business unit, and business development officer 
• Perform other duties as assigned 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or a technical nature required 
• Minimum of 5 years of financial analytics experience required; Deposit data experience preferred  
• Advanced skills in SQL and Excel required; Knowledge in various data analysis and visualization tools like Power BI or Snowflake preferred 
• Proficiency with data mining and manipulation of data sets 
• Ability to apply an analytical mindset to understand problems and propose concise, actionable solutions supporting strategic business decisions 
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 
• Excellent oral and written communication skills 
• Proven interpersonal and organizational skills 

The pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience. $120,000 (entry level qualifications) to $160,000 (highly experienced).
