Summary
In this role on the NFP Marketing Team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the NFP brand and generating new demand for our business.
We are seeking a dynamic Creative Director to lead and oversee all aspects of brand design. This role involves conceptualizing, developing, and executing creative projects that elevate our brand identity and storytelling. The ideal candidate will possess a strong design aesthetic, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of visual storytelling through video and graphic design.
You’ll need to be an organized self-starter who can produce projects independently balancing ideation, collaboration, workflow process, prioritization, and project management across multiple stakeholders with varying priorities & perspectives. Always with an eye towards the goal of connecting buyer needs with NFP’s capabilities and solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Creative Leadership: Develop and implement a cohesive creative vision that aligns with NFP’s goals and brand identity.
- Visual Design: Create and oversee the creation of compelling, on-brand visual assets, including graphics, layouts, and branding materials.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor and inspire a team of designers, videographers, and other creative professionals.
- Brand Development: Maintain NFP’s brand guidelines, while continuously working to evolve and elevate the brand’s visual identity and voice.
- Project Management: Manage project timelines, budgets, vendors and resources to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner with business leaders, marketing managers and other stakeholders to understand project goals and translate them into creative deliverables.
- Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging marketing technologies to identify new opportunities and best practices.
What you will need
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in creative roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of creative projects and accomplishments.
- Deep understanding of design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and familiarity with production processes.
- Knowledge of marketing channels and tactics, including social media, email marketing, content marketing, and more.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
- Experience in brand strategy and development, with a strong understanding of storytelling, design principles, and user experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The base salary range for this position is $92,000 – $115,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
