What’s in Store
We're on the lookout for an Auto Claims Manager. As an Auto Claims Manager, you will supervise handling of general liability and commercial liability claims, supervise a team of adjusters, review claim files for proper handling, and maintain proper staffing needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Results oriented professional with strong investigative skills with the ability to deliver quality claims service
- Responsible for building and managing a quality claims staff and be well versed in current case law, statutory law, DOI regulations, etc.
- Prepare written status and large loss reports for clients
- Obtain authority for large loss and expense payments
- Attend mediations and settlement conferences as necessary
- Work as liaison between client and adjusters
- Effectively communicate with staff, management and both internal and external customers
This role is a full-time, home-based position.

- Excellent leadership skills of a multifaceted team
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task in fast-paced work environment
- Excellent customer service skills to provide quality customer service by appropriately responding and resolving complex situations and problems
- Respond promptly to internal and external customer needs and request for service assistance
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent oral communications skills must speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations
- Listens and obtains clarification, responds well to questions, demonstrates group presentation skills, and actively participates in meetings
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
