The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Billing Verification Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by qualifying orders for continued billing based on payer requirements. Acting as the liaison between customers, 3M and third-party payers. Obtaining and analyzing required documentation for billing of claims.
- Prioritize and execute based on customer and/or business urgency
- Verify third party payer to obtain authorization (online or telephonically)
- Conforms to, supports and enforce all Company policies and procedures
- Review and research payer specific requirement to determine required documentation and accurate billing
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or higher
- One (1) year of managed care/health care Insurance authorization request experience
- Microsoft Office experience
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Two (2) or more years of experience in a healthcare or insurance environment
- One (1) year of experience in a customer service environment
- Ability to prioritize a worklist and work in production environment
- Excellent written and verbal skills
Work location: Remote (one-day quarterly meetings onsite in San Antonio, TX)
Travel: May include up to 5% domestic
Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $49,206 - $60,141, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
