Audit Manager (Hybrid Remote) - Locust Point, MD

This position allows for 3 days per week remote / work from home.Salary: $120,000 - 150,000/year As an Audit Manager, you will oversee audit engagements, manage audit teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality audit services to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead audit engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting phases.
• Review workpapers, financial statements, and audit reports prepared by audit team members.
• Assess and enhance internal controls and audit methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to audit staff, fostering professional development and growth.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business operations, risks, and control environment.
• Communicate audit findings, recommendations, and insights to clients and management.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and auditing standards to maintain audit excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or other relevant certification required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in external auditing, with managerial or leadership responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of audit principles, practices, and procedures.
• Proficiency in audit software and MS Office suite.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients, team members, and management.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
