Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Drive excellent technical implementation
• Completing assigned tasks promptly with autonomy, communicating progress effectively
• Attending all meetings and documenting outcomes
• Understanding and adhering to project timelines
• Voicing delivery risks and providing solutions
• Create key documentation adhering to Praecipio standards
• Partner with other teammates and teams to ensure a high quality deliverable
• Foster teamwork through excellent communication and collaboration
• Lead client engagements and project delivery
• Document and share deliverables to client and internal stakeholders

Requirements for Success

Technical Proficiency

• Expert implementation and configuration of Atlassian's suite of products, including Jira (JSM, JSW, JWM, JPD), Confluence, and other related plugins and integrations
• Fully certified and accredited Atlassian Technical Delivery Professional
• Familiar with common and preferred marketplace applications 
• General operating system, network, and database knowledge.
• A certification in project management methodologies and practices including but not limited to Service Management (ITIL, ITSM), Enterprise Agility (SAFe) and associated methodologies
• Proficient in best practices related to Atlassian Cloud systems and SaaS system
• Basic knowledge and understanding of;
• databases including Structured Query Language (SQL). 
• various networks, infrastructures and Java Virtual Machine (JVM)
• Knowledge of either:
• ITSM tooling: ServiceNow, Zendesk, and Cherwell a plus
• Enterprise Agility tooling: Planview, Anaplan, Target Process a plus
  

Consulting Experience

• Active Listening is essential, including the ability to understand client needs, gather requirements, and translate them into effective solutions using Atlassian tools. 
• This involves verbal and written effective communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Adaptability and customer orientation during times of change

Problem Solving and Critical Thinking

• Driving technical conversations that drive an actionable solution
• Providing solutions and options to common problems
• Leverage data to identify trends and improve process

Leadership

• Ability to lead and influence others with various levels of experience
• Ability to lead projects to Praecipio standards
• Knowledge sharing with team members and guiding consultants through assigned tasks
• Provide expertise in community of practice

Basic Qualifications 

• Minimum 7-10 years of technical proficiency with Atlassian, Jira (JWS, JSM, JWM, JPD)
• Minimum 5-8 year of customer-facing consulting experience with an Atlassian product(s)
• Minimum of 3-4 years of leading technical engagements across the Atlassian suite (and supporting methodologies)
• Atlassian Certified Individual (any two Atlassian Certs), Atlassian Technical Sales Professional & Sales Professional
• Certification in ITIL® 4 Foundation - IT Service Management OR Certification in SAFe 6.0 (SA or SPC)
• Open to travel up to 25% per quarter to client sites

Benefits

Salary

$140,000-170,000 USD  base salary depending on location and experience
