At-Risk Instructional Coach

Job Description
Certificates and Licenses: State Teaching License, preferred in Math (grades 8-12)Residency Requirements: TEXASThis remote At-Risk Instructional Coach is funded by State Compensatory Education funds. Utilizing leadership, advocacy, and collaboration the Instructional Coach delivers academic intervention beyond the General Education classroom interventions to At-Risk students in both Synchronous and Asynchronous environments to reduce the disparity in academic performance on State assessment instruments to reduce the disparity in the rates of student failures and high school completion between students at risk of dropping out of school and all other students. The Instructional Coach will build capacity at every level of the campus related to effective inclusive practices in academics for At-Risk populations to ensure teachers have the necessary tools required to serve and support At-Risk students. In addition, the Instructional Coaches will implement professional development opportunities for each school to support teachers’ needs in alignment with the goals of the organization.

This position offers a base salary of $55,000 plus the eligibility of a performance bonus.

This is a full-time REMOTE position. Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week is required. Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during workday, typically 8am-5pm central time.
