The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Associate/Journey Salesforce Administrator, Information Technology, (REMOTE ELIGIBLE), [R0146579].
ROLE of the POSITION
Associate Salesforce AdministratorThe Center of Excellence (COE) team provides Salesforce best practices guidance, system support, and development for business units across the University. Reporting to the COE Director, the Associate Salesforce Administrator is an integral member of the COE team responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the UNLV Salesforce system as well as acting as a champion for system use and process improvement within Salesforce. The Associate Salesforce Administrator will ensure the UNLV Salesforce system is operational and satisfies the needs of users. In particular, the Associate Salesforce Administrator has administrative responsibilities, project responsibilities all the while demonstrating strong capabilities as a professional on the COE team.
Administrative Responsibilities
Managing and maintaining security
Monitoring and maintaining data quality and integrity
Reviewing release notes, testing, and disseminating relevant release information in a timely fashion
Troubleshooting and resolving user issues
Business process and system configuration documentation
Data loading and duplicate management
Developing reports and dashboard based on business needs
End-user training and support
In addition to the day-to-day administrative responsibilities, the Associate Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for working with the COE and Digital Strategy and Transformation (DST) teams to continually configure the system in ways that best leverage the technology to support business processes and improve efficiency and service. The Associate Salesforce Administrator will perform complex, professional level duties in analysis, evaluation, design, development, testing, implementation, documentation, and maintenance.
Characteristics
Understanding of cloud-based Customer Relationship (CRM) applications
Understanding of customer-centered service models, particularly in higher education settings
Excellent ability to communicate effectively (both in writing and verbally) with a diverse staff, faculty and community and effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical constituents.
Demonstrated experience collaborating with colleagues in a university setting, including academic departments, advising centers, student support units such as Admissions, Registrar, Financial Aid, etc.
Knowledge of Salesforce Lightning (Sales, Service, Community, and Marking Cloud) and Salesforce Certified Administrator is preferred
Self-motivated with the ability to work collaboratively and independently, self-manage and prioritize.
Aptitude and desire for learning the latest technology and best-in-class business practices.
Demonstrate a high level of passion and enthusiasm for the value of a well-run CRM in a relationship-based organization.

Demonstrated ability to write reports and build dashboards to meet transactional reporting needs on the Salesforce platform.

Salary range for this role is as follows:
Associate: $87,000 to $89,600
Journey: $94,100 to $99,800
