Monitors, evaluates and continuously improves the company's Supply Chain processes. Works with internal and external stakeholders to drive efficiencies, identify and manage risks and ensure the right balance between fulfillment and replenishment needs. Coordinates, compiles and develops demand forecasts, analyzes historical trends, tracks supplier / provider performance and develops process improvements. Engages with vendors and suppliers to identify and resolve current and anticipated supply issues. Strives to maximize process effectiveness and minimize costs.

  • Gains familiarity with the Supply Chain Planning function.
  • With guidance, learns to perform the Supply Chain Planning Specialist duties, including: Establishing and maintaining planned inventory levels.
  • Detecting when inventory levels will move beyond approved tolerances.
  • Managing obsolete or excess inventory.
  • Coordinating closely with Buyers.
  • Confirming supplier capacity and forecasting any shortfalls or cost overages.
  • Ensuring replenishment volumes are within contracted levels.
  • Updating and maintaining the internal databases and information systems.
  • Develops positive working relationships with internal business, supply chain and supported stakeholders.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of 0-2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Supply Chain Planning.
  • Good business English skills (Written and spoken).

Salary Range: $45,000 to $55,000. Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including your qualifications, skills, competencies, geographic location, internal equity, and relevant experience.
