Nightwing is seeking an entry level Associate Subcontracts Administrator. 

The ideal candidate is someone who has business experience that hasn’t necessarily been in the Subcontracts field, but who is eager and ready to learn subcontracts management and develop expertise surrounding government supply chain best practices from the ground up.

The ideal candidate is someone who is able to stay cool under pressure and can meet imposed deadlines and manage competing priorities. This person will need to take in information, ask questions, and seek answers in a timely manner. We are a highly customer service driven profession. With the right work ethic, critical-thinking ability, written and verbal communication skills, and organizational aptitudes, this candidate has an incredible opportunity to excel on a special team where their contributions will have a huge impact. We are looking specifically for someone who is ready to commit to learning the subcontracting process, including all aspects of detailed administration and customer management.

Below is a general description of some of the day-to-day procurement activities but is in no way complete or comprehensive. Much will be learned on the job, so the ideal candidate on a daily basis will need to practice and exhibit patience, a positive attitude, and willingness to handle a level of discomfort when being presented with the many complexities associated with this profession. 

The ideal candidate will require an exceptional level of professional dedication, integrity, and work ethic to challenge themselves to keep learning and gain an understanding of the role. 

This position will analyze supplier quotes/proposals and support the management of supplier performance to cost, delivery/schedule, and quality, technical and programmatic/contractual requirements.  The successful candidate will be asked to compile and analyze industry/market and Raytheon data to select suppliers. The position includes creating, modifying, and executing contractual requirements for proposals and subcontract modifications, along with creating and analyzing reports in the context of managing his or her subcontracts. The position will be expected to interface professionally, consistently, and timely with supplier cross-functional organizations and execute to internal and external customer requirements including government regulations (such as FAR/DFAR), public law, company policies, and procedures.  Interfacing with both internal company personnel as well as subcontractors is a unique and critical aspect of this role.

Responsibilities:

Create and track subcontract details in Excel, Word, and online applications (SAP) databases (EPAD), as required

Timely completion, entry, and submission of contractual audit documents

Report generation and interpretation for customers and subcontractors

Execution of instructions and guidance in a timely manner

Timely responses to customer and subcontractor inquiries

Execution and modification of subcontracts and purchase orders

Consistent internal communication of program and subcontract needs and concerns both oral and written

Administrative management of all aspects of the procurement process

Participate in required training to satisfy both corporate and professional advancement

Educational Requirements:

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience. Engineering/Other Technical Positions:

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
