Allrecipes, the number one food site on the internet, is looking for a creative Associate Social Media Editor with a passion for all things food, social media, and user-generated content (UGC). Reporting to our Senior Social Media Editor, this dynamic role heads up video production and scheduling, management and strategy for Pinterest, and helps with community management across platforms.

Responsibilities:
35%: Work cross-functionally with the social, video, and recipe teams to produce and create original social-first video content. Manage the video calendar and lead video editing, copywriting, and production for internal team and external content creators.
25%: Work closely with the Senior Social Media Manager to execute social media growth strategies to further extend the digital reach of the brand, drive engagements, and grow awareness. Monitor current social trends and competitors’ social media presence to identify new opportunities and leverage best practices.
15%: Support influencer management efforts—engage with content creators, research and pitch influencers to the team, brainstorm collaborations, and post across platforms
15%: Monitor and engage with the brand’s followers and community across platforms.
10%: Report on content performance and provide insights
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Journalism/Communications, Marketing, English or related field, or equivalent training and/or experience
Minimum 1-2 years experience in digital social media for a large brand
Familiarity with short-form video, TikTok, Reels, video editing, video production, talent sourcing.
Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to capture and effectively convey brand voice
Strong attention to detail, hatred of typos, and ability to meet deadlines and multitask at a fast pace
Keen eye for design, food photography, and short form video
Energetic, well-organized, and proactive team player
Knowledge, experience, or interest in food, cooking, and the culinary world a plus
Willingness to work outside of standard business hours, if needed
Canva, Looker, AirTable, and Google Suite skills are preferred
Familiarity with social media publishing platforms such as Dash Hudson, Creator Studio, and True Anthem, a plus

Pay Range
Salary: Remote US: $55,000.00 - $66,050.00The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith’s total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
