Job Description Summary

               

The Associate Settlement Analyst is responsible for timely validation and accurate reconciliation of disputes in Lamb Weston ERP system. In this role you will support all business units and departments enterprise wide overseeing specific strategic customers. It is important that there is a consistent relationship with all customers for ease of processing.

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Validate disputes taken in S4, clear to appropriate GL and/or create denial.
  • Follow audit guidelines for uploading backup and validation of clearing the dispute.
  • Accurate and timely resolving of disputes and overpayments.
  • Collect back up on customer portal, Bank portal, group mailbox, workflow, and other deduction data sources to complete deduction information.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for missing information required to validate the deductions (Sales, BU Finance, Customer Operations and Credit).
  • Adhere to KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) for dispute processing by managing a specific dollars, days, and quantity threshold. Expectation is to process all disputes timely before month end report outs.
  • Follow SOX audit compliance to ensure accuracy when reviewing, processing, and exercising independent decisions on matters that affect the business.
  • Monthly touch points with customers on optimization, timely claims, trends, and any other relevant topics or concerns. It is important that there is a consistent relationship with all customers for ease of processing. 
  • Other Duties as assigned to support the business.

    Basic & Preferred Qualifications

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field preferred. 
    • 1-3 years accounts receivable, credit, collections and/or trade or non-trade deduction resolution experience required. 
    • Research, strong problem-solving, mathematical, and analytical skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality Proficiency with MS Office required
    • Ability to quickly learn and utilize multiple systems and draw appropriate conclusions. 
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Ability to work independently and as a team player, be organized, and plan ahead
    • Language Skills 
    • Effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing. Spanish knowledge is an added advantage.

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range posted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, job duties, experience and expertise. A candidate’s work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $46,930.00 - $70,390.00
