Associate Sales Proposal Administrator

The Associate Sales Proposal Administrator plays a key role in managing the proposal development process, collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate, and effective responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs) for both new and renewing business opportunities. Utilizing the proposal response library, the administrator curates and refines content while also authoring responses as needed to effectively communicate Delta Dental’s value proposition.
- Manage the process for commercial, non-complex proposals from initiation to submission, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Analyze RFP/bid requirements to ensure compliance and responsiveness.
- Coordinate proposal content reviews, resolve discrepancies, and secure approvals from stakeholders.
- Develop high-quality proposal deliverables, including response questionnaires and exhibits.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to refine messaging and enhance proposal quality.
- Support additional projects related to proposal development and content management.
- Periodically develop high-quality, compliant, and compelling proposals to support business growth.
- 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in proposal coordination or sales support.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. Equivalent experience considered.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.
- Experience with proposal software (e.g., Loopio, Qvidian) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Background in marketing or communications is a plus.

Base Pay Information
The national base pay range at the end is a good faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental’s assessment of the candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications, and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. Pay Grade 16. $45,400 - $95,000
