Job Description
The Associate Product Owner is responsible for owning specific software projects from requirements definition to launch and contributing as a team member on larger projects. The Associate Product Owner works with key business stakeholders to define and convey business needs to onshore and offshore software development and engineering teams.
Primary Job Duties:
Support agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, release planning, and sprint reviews
Maintain prioritized and groomed product backlog
Gather, clarify, and document requirements
Support and communicate with Product Operations Team, especially with respect to escalated production support concerns and communication around product releases
Ensure enhancements are delivered with high quality in a timely manner
Understand existing projects, including ensuring products are meeting the agreed upon Service Level Agreement (SLA)
Participate in maintaining product roadmaps, quarterly goals, project plans, and other planning documentation
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize, strong attention to detail, able to follow and enforce processes
Eagerness to learn new skills and frameworks, as necessary
Strong technical skills and/or aptitude - candidate does not need to be a developer, but needs to be able to problem solve.
Willing and able to solve problems without depending on others
Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulation
Writing and reading SQL is preferred
Bonus
Familiarity with “Agile” methodologies, tools and practices
Experience in requirements analysis experience, working directly with stakeholders and developers, QA, Technical writing, or similar
The salary range for this role is $76,000.00 - $90,000.00 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, and pet insurance, 401K, paid time off, and other wellness programs). This role is also eligible for an annual bonus targeted at 15% and restricted stock units. The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.
