Job Description

In BARDS (Biostatistics and Research Decision Sciences), a distinguished department within our company’s renowned Research and Development division, quantitative scientists, in partnership with other subject matter experts, apply state-of-the art scientific methodologies and tools to enable the discovery, development, regulatory approval, manufacturing, and marketing of medical drugs and vaccines for the benefit of patients and global human health.

The incumbent is responsible for statistical planning and data analysis of Phase I/II oncology clinical trials as well as translational biomarker analyses. This position requires strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and a solid knowledge of statistical methodology.  A successful applicant is expected to be self-motivated and innovative.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Provide statistical leadership and support for early-stage clinical oncology programs as well as statistical support for translational oncology projects and studies.

  •  Interact with Clinical, Regulatory, Statistical Programming, Data Management, and other company Research Laboratories scientists in designing and analyzing data from clinical trials as well as analyzing oncology biomarker and clinical data. 

  • Coordinate all statistical activities for ongoing clinical projects.

Education Requirements:

  •  PhD in statistics or biostatistics with ~3 years of experience
