Job Description:

Carat is looking for someone to act as a technical liaison and will build and sustain strong relationships with all business, operational, and technical parties.

You will embrace the merging of web and mobile advertising technology, and have a skill set that goes beyond the traditional advertising operations profile. You will focus on JavaScript development with the goal of both maintaining our site tagging efforts alongside working on development projects. You will report to the Senior Manager on the team. This job's workplace is open to hybrid or remote employees.

You will work within webpage applications to support tag operations and conversion tags on client sites.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Data collection through custom scripting and tagging using JavaScript/HTML5/CSS

  • Application development with focus on React/Node.js applications

  • Development of custom applications to support client/internal deliverables

  • Identifying and solving complex ad- and data-related issues

  • Communicating the function and scope of our technology platforms and services

  • Working with third-party developers and technology vendors

  • Assisting internal media teams in the execution of cross-divisional ad campaigns

  • Technical liaison to both internal and client teams

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

  • Demonstrable knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and basic browser-to-server communication

  • Break down technical concepts and effectively communicate them to a non-technical audience

  • An understanding of multiple advertising platforms and the media agency environment.

  • 0+ years of experience in advertising or in a technical client services environment

  • BA/BS degree

The annual salary range for this position is $51,000 - $83,375. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
