About the Job:
As an Associate Manager, Email Marketing Operations, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue and engagement through Rent the Runwayâs Email, SMS, and Push marketing efforts. You will be responsible for executing email, push, and SMS marketing campaigns, optimizing email performance, and ensuring the smooth operation of our platform.
What Youâll Do:
- Manage end-to-end email, SMS, and push notification execution both in house and via external contractors, from setting up creative testing and audience segmentation to building, testing and deployment of all campaignsÂ
- Draft briefs and collaborate with cross-functional Creative + Merchandising teams to plan and implement email campaignsÂ
- Execute test strategies around key email components such as content, timing, audience segmentation, and frequency to drive performance of email campaigns
- Compile, track, and analyze email performance KPIs and make recommendations to campaigns based on this analysis and drive increased revenue
- Support the testing and integration of new email capabilities and tools
- Monitor email deliverability and ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM regulations and international data collection policies

About You:
- You have a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
- 1-2 years experience in email + SMS marketing, preferably in the retail or e-commerce industry.
- Proficiency in email marketing + SMS platforms (experience with Sailthru and Attentive a plus)
- Youâre detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple campaigns simultaneously. Experience in project management software such as Asana is a âŚ
