Job Description

THE ROLE:

Support the Total Rewards team with the administration of A+E Network’s benefits plans and contribute to implementations and re-design efforts to enhance the programs we offer, as well as communicate and educate employees on these plans. This role will report to the VP of Total Rewards.

MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Manage and develop wellness initiatives. Works closely with vendors on the day-to-day administration of health and welfare and retirement plans including UK benefit plans.

  • Acts as the liaison/advocate in the execution of benefit strategic vision. Assist with RFP’s and vendor implementations. 

  • Collaborate with Finance, Payroll, HRIS and Legal teams on benefit changes, payroll reconciliations audits and benefits contracts.

  • Compliance/Reporting:  Manage compliance requirements and notices to employees. Census creation and reporting to Sr leadership and broker.

  • Communications - Create initial draft of Benefits communications to Employees. 

  • High Touch internal partnership, provide assistance with escalated benefit and retirement plan issues. 

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 3 years of corporate employee benefits experience at a mid-sized or larger company (500 employees or more)

  • Advanced MS Excel skills (able to use advanced functions like vlookup, managing large data sets, merging sets with other shared sheets, etc.)

  • At least 2 years of project management (has implemented a project from inception to implementation, can manage self and work through others)

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Experience with Benefits module in Workday a plus

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Collaborative

  • Adaptable to changing priorities and operates well through ambiguity

  • Thrives in scrappy environment that requires each team member to contribute in a variety of ways

Compensation

Annual Pay Range: $87,826 - $101,000

Annual Incentive Target: 10.00%


 

The annual/hourly pay range displayed serves as a good faith estimate of the

minimum and maximum base pay range for this role. Compensation for the role will

be based on a number of different factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills,

competencies, location, and experience. A+E offers a competitive total compensation
