Boeing is seeking an Associate Flight Dispatcher to join the team in Engelwood, Colorado. In this role, you will join a team of experienced mission planners. This role supports global mission planning, dispatch, and logistics support for all phases of flight that are regulatory compliant and customized to each customers unique operations.
Position Responsibilities:
- Communicates with engineers, flight crews and others to seek, identify and track specific flight requirements
- Creates and adjusts flight plans
- Coordinates, acquires and ensures delivery of assets (airspace, test equipment, use of airports) and arranges for simple flight operations (scheduled test flight)
- Participates in pre-mishap planning, training and practice alerts
- Gathers information related to safety of flight and prepares information for briefing delivery to the flight crew
- Acquires, distributes and interprets a wide variety of publications required to ensure safe flight and to comply with governmental regulations
- Job requires FAA Aircraft Dispatcher certificate
- Works under general supervision
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- FAA Dispatcher Certificate
- 1+ years of experience in the position responsibilities listed above
- 1+ years of experience in a customer service role
- Fluent in both verbal and written English
- Ability to work variable shifts; including days, evenings, nights and weekends
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience in the position responsibilities listed above
- 5+ years of experience in a customer service role
