Job Description Summary:
The Associate Financial Analyst is responsible for providing finance support to one or more of Rocket’s functional or Business Unit organizations, with oversight and guidance provided by the Director, FP&A. The Associate Financial Analyst will be responsible for provide reporting and analysis on headcount and operating expenses against forecasts and budgets. This is a great opportunity to learn from more experienced members of the team to further hone analytical skills, with lots of opportunity for growth and development.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and distribute consistent monthly financial reviews for senior business and finance leaders.
Collaborate with others to streamline and improve financial reporting tools and identify/implement process improvements as needed.
Play a supporting role in all monthly close and business planning processes (budgeting and forecasting) and ensure monthly financial results are stated accurately.
Work with AP and SSC team to improve monthly close/accrual process – create standardize reporting for expense analysis at a vendor level
Review and analyze results to understand performance against plan/forecast. Identify trends that indicate problems to address or opportunities to investigate. Highlight business issues and risks and drive changes to improve operations.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of Finance and/or Accounting experience.
Proficient level of Excel knowledge with the ability to use pivot tables and advanced formulae.
Experience in Microsoft office suite of products.
Experience with ERP and financial planning tools.
Ability to consistently meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and moderate supervision in a fast pace environment.
Ability to interpret data and offer relevant conclusions and recommendations.
Self-starter with a desire to learn and grow in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years of experience in the planning and analysis field working closely with senior management.
Exposure to a global corporate environment.
Experience with Oracle ERP, Essbase, Smart View, OBIEE, APEX.
Experience working in the high-tech industry or for software companies.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.

The base salary range for this role is $59,927.00 - $74,909.00 /year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location..What Rocket Software can offer you in USA:
