Associate Experience Designer, Meetings & Events  
As an Associate Experience Designer, you’ll bridge the worlds of destinations, strategy, and engagement, helping to craft unique experiences and events for our customers. You will collaborate across The Collective and within BCD M&E as we develop the account strategy and build innovative and creative service solutions for both new and existing customers. You will assist in writing our responses to RFIs and RFPs and collaborate with SMM and BCD Travel to introduce The Collective to their customers. Our goal: drive the innovation, creativity and processes that expand the reach/revenue of The Collective by BCD M&E.

 

As an Associate Experience Designer, Events you will:
•    Support the Experience Design team and sales for The Collective through proposal design and development.
•    Collaborate with BCD M&E team to create unique, cutting-edge events and experiences that align directly with client goals. This can range from bringing destinations to life to designing engagement and networking strategies to recommending technology and ROI metrics.
•    Support development of creative proposals that captivate and communicate the client objectives, interactions intended for the event, aesthetics of the space, event marketing campaigns and engagement ideas for their program.
•    Support conceptual ideation and solutions/design intent at all phases of a project with internal and external teams alike. This may be done using verbal/written formats (storytelling) or, in collaboration with Creative and Production teams, via visual media (sketching, white models, image comps, etc.)
•    Ace project management to ensure the team meets all customer deadlines, and delivers RFP responses and proposals according in the requested format.
•    Assist in project management of XD deliverables


You’re good at: 
•    Building and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues, suppliers, customers, and their partners.
•    Expressing thoughts and ideas, verbally, in writing and in visual presentations
•    Listening – to clients, colleagues, and your own intuition – and facilitating a collaborative brainstorm environment
•    Finding creative solutions to problems and ways to work smarter
•    Embracing entrepreneurial mindsets and forging new paths
•    You understand modern marketing methodologies including environmental graphics, consumer engagement strategies and measurement, analytics/tracking, social media, etc.
•    Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and proficient or willing to learn Beautiful.ai, Photoshop, InDesign, and Adobe Acrobat Pro

 

You should also have :
•    (3) or more years’ experience in the meetings & events industry, and Destination and Meetings/Incentive industry knowledge
•    Knowledge of designing event experiences and environments, including experiential event activations, exhibits, incentives, conferences, permanent installations, etc. a plus
•    Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Creative Writing, Advertising, Marketing, or Fine Arts is a plus.
•    Familiarity with digital media, A/V, lighting, and staging is a plus.
•    Strong communication and consultation skills and ability to effectively work with variety of communication styles.
•    Business writing and proof-reading skills 
 

You should know:
•    This is a Virtual/Work from home position operating in the Central Time Zone
•    25% travel may be required for this role

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Associate Experience Designer  is between $55,000 - $75,000 The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
