Associate Enterprise Product Owner - Hybrid

As our Associate Enterprise Product Owner (Guidewire), you will be responsible for supporting the product vision and high-level priorities and communicating the product vision, strategy, and direction to the product development team. In addition, you will champion the interests of our insurance stakeholders to support our ACE initiatives for service quality, growth, product expansion, and innovation.
Note: The position requires late-night and early-morning support during shakedown when changes are introduced to production. Additionally, there is currently one day per week where the employee will need to provide early morning coverage to monitor the department mailbox in case our business stakeholders experience system problems.
What You’ll Do
You’ll participate in team stand-ups and retrospective meetings. Facilitate iteration planning meetings.
You’ll understand the product vision, high-level priorities, and business goals from the Product Owner. And as a dedicated, co-located member of the product team, communicate product vision, strategy, and direction to the product development team.
You'll be required to clearly define requirements, perform system demos testing.
You’ll facilitate collaboration between stakeholders to define the business needs, then work with the product teams to identify solutions that drive business value.
You’ll convert high-level business priorities into the product backlog and user stories. Create acceptance criteria for user stories in the backlog.
You’ll work with the product development team to understand flow and rules in order to provide application design. Collaborate with the product development team to document requirements and formulate usability and acceptance tests.
You’ll convert insights from user and usability tests into backlog items and user stories.
You’ll determine the next build to release. Write release notes. Monitor defect reporting and convert defects into product backlog.
Cultivate relationships with external vendors, partners, and development team members in the development of technology products. Produce and deliver executive and stakeholder presentations.
Facilitate change management with internal employees impacted by new deliverables to ensure adoption of new technologies.
Maintain a high level of skill and current knowledge of product line and apply knowledge in creation of flow and rules that help guide the development of product initiatives.
What You’ll Need
2-3 years of Guidewire experience.
To have developed detailed user stories, which may include some or all of the following supplemental information: business process flows, data flows, sequence diagrams, and activity diagrams. Prioritize the product backlog.
Product management, product development, Agile product owner or related experience for enterprise products or programs preferred.
Clear understanding of user interface (UI) and the basic principles and design qualities that have been shown to make web applications easier to use.
Experience with Insurance (Guidewire products and operations highly desired.
Experience managing business stakeholders that have competing priorities.
Experience leading qualitative and quantitative consumer research preferred.
Experience converting high-level priorities into product backlog.
Great collaboration skills.

The starting pay range for this position is:
$106,200.00 - $156,400.00Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
