What We’re Looking For:

Want to get in on the ground floor of an Enterprise Architecture initiative?  2U is seeking an Associate Enterprise Architect to collaborate with the company’s Chief Architect on the deployment of a new Enterprise Architecture program.  The AEA role offers experience with framework planning and development, communication, leadership, innovation, governance, compliance, risk management, and solution design. Collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will contribute to the strategic direction of our technology ecosystem while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry standards.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

  • EA Practice Management: Support the planning, execution, and reporting of program components within the organization's Enterprise Architecture practice, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
  • EA Awareness, Communication, and Education: Facilitate the dissemination of architectural concepts, strategies, decisions, and statuses to business stakeholders, fostering a shared understanding of 2U’s technology landscape.
  • EA Technical Leadership and Innovation: Identify and evaluate opportunities for technical leadership and innovation, driving continuous improvement and staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Enterprise Architecture Framework (EAF) Management: Assist in the planning, execution, and reporting of domain components within the organization's EAF program, promoting consistency and coherence across architectural domains.
  • Enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Management: Support the planning, execution, and reporting of domain components within the organization's GRC program, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and mitigating risks effectively.
  • Enterprise Technology Portfolio (ETP) Management: Contribute to the planning, execution, and reporting of domain components within the organization's ETP program, producing asset roadmaps and optimizing the technology portfolio to drive business value and innovation.  Participate in cross-functional ATAM and POC/POV exercises designed to recommend new technology portfolio assets.  Participate in consolidation efforts to realize associated benefits while maintaining quality-of-service.  Collaborate with the Procurement team to ensure activities align with organizational standards and strategic objectives, optimizing vendor relationships and technology investments.
