About this role:
Axsome Therapeutics is seeking an Associate Director/Director, Professional Education and Marketing Operations to join our commercial team. The Associate Director/Director, Professional Education and Marketing Operations will play a pivotal role in driving our professional education as well as franchise marketing initiatives to ensure execution excellence.
This role is based at Axsome’s HQ in New York City with an on-site requirement of at least three days per week. We are unable to consider candidates who are looking for fully remote roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead in the planning and execution of various initiatives, including but not limited to peer-to-peer programs, medical congresses, and operational support for marketing resource management
- As a player-coach, guide and support a marketing operations team, creating a positive, innovative and results-driven atmosphere
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline marketing operations to improve processes and enhance efficiencies
- Utilize data analysis and strategic thinking to enhance educational engagement across the portfolio of products
- Serve as the operational lead for brand initiatives, evaluating and supporting key marketing activities, including future product launches
- Ensure that all marketing activities are following all regulatory and legal requirements
Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- At least 5 years of marketing / marketing operations experience in the Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry
- Ability to work on site Monday, Tuesday & Thursday. We are unable to consider candidates who are looking for fully remote roles
Preferred Experience and Knowledge:
- People leadership experience
- Experience in professional educational initiatives (peer to peer / medical congresses)
- Strong project management experience with an ability to multi-task and prioritize projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- A proactive, creative and entrepreneurial approach
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- CNS disease expertise and/or experience
Salary and Benefits:
The anticipated salary range for this role is $140,000 - $170,000. We encourage candidates of all levels to apply as there may be flexibility on final job title and responsibilities. The salary offer will be based on a variety of factors, including experience, qualifications, internal equity and location. Axsome offers a competitive employment package that includes an annual bonus, significant equity and a generous benefits package.
