The Role
The position will be responsible for managing the key area of field force incentive compensation. The Associate Director of Field Operations – Incentive Compensation works closely with field leadership to ensure a highly motivating incentive compensation plan is designed, administered & maintained. The candidate will be responsible for owning the end to end Incentive Compensation process from design and implementation to payouts and leadership updates. The Associate Director of Field Operations – Incentive Compensation will report directly to the Director of Field Operations.

Responsibilities

  • The candidate will have key responsibilities of leading the incentive compensation process for field teams at Genmab.

  • Coordinates with other functions and stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, Business Insights & Analytics, Business Information Services, HR, finance as well as third party vendors across incentive compensation strategy, sales data flow and incentive compensation processing.

  • Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in field incentive compensation planning and administering.

  • Incentive Compensation Design: Lead the design and development of annual incentive compensation and special incentive plans and gain leadership alignment across field leadership, marketing, operations, customer experience & insights, HR, Finance, Legal & Compliance.

  • Manage IC operations: Align on forecasts across BIA & leadership for goal allocation and oversee on-going IC operations including adjustments, validation, payout processes, and field reporting tool updates.

  • Incentive Compensation Reporting & Benchmarking: Design & manage standard IC readouts for various levels of the organization highlighting plan performance and comparison against best-in-class industry benchmarks (field & home office leadership)

  • Own the processing and on-time delivery of year end annual awards trip and promotion criteria based on performance.

  • Manage quality controls and quality assurance in the tracking & implementation of field force incentive compensation across applicable systems.

  • Stay up to date on industry trend around biotech incentive compensation with a goal of bringing innovation to the forefront of Genmab

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required; advanced degree is preferred.

  • Must have 7+ years of work experience in field operations, marketing analytics, strategic consulting or other analytical work in the pharmaceutical, biotech or related industries.

  • Detailed understanding of sales processes, sales data tracking, sales force automation, incentive compensation operations.

  • Proficient in all aspects of analyzing and administering healthcare sales data for incentive compensation processes.

  • The exceptional ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, with changing priorities and significant time pressures is required.

  • Requires in-depth and current knowledge of pharmaceutical sales and marketing strategies including building field incentive plans.

  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) required along with strong project/process management skills.

  • The ability to develop and maintain strong team relationships, including external partners, while driving for positive results is required.

  • Previous experience in oncology is preferred.

Location: This position currently adopts a hybrid work model, requiring 3 days per week on-site at the Princeton, NJ office.

For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:

$171,360.00---$257,040.00

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
