What You Will Do
Today across RTX there are a variety of business processes and software platforms that support the flow of information from our customers to our factories to our suppliers and enable our ability to report and analyze our collective performance. This combination of process and tools is commonly called Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). In support of the future of RTX the enterprise has begun an ERP transformation journey to optimize business processes, enable data strategy, and implement a common approach to our next generation ERP software - SAP/S4 Hana.
The RTX SAP/S4 Hana Program Management Office team is focused on setting up the framework and executing RTX ERP Transformation partnering with Corporate and Business Units. We will drive customer and financial performance through technological advancements, data insights and process optimization.
The candidate will work in a fast-paced environment to assist in the design, development, and testing of S4Hana in relation to supply chain sourcing and contracting. This role requires someone with proven experience as a project lead, strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to influence across multiple stakeholders and Business Units. This person will lead long lead initiatives projects, work with the S2P BU leads on the blueprinting phase and assist in overall Source to Pay workstream activities within the RTX wide ERP program.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead & support long lead time projects, priority initiatives and blueprinting activities.
Partner with the other leads to ensure a common consistent process and adherence to the project change controls.
Monitor S2P design compliance to RTX and BU policies and FAR / DFAR requirements.
Validate claims that design requests are necessary because of contract compliance
Oversee segregation of duties within S2P and work with other workstreams to ensure SOD on cross functional processes
Participate in pathfinder/proof of concept activities.
Use the key design decisions to drive the dependent activities.
Assist in defining the Supply Chain business value and use cases associated with the ERP program and define the execution strategy (roadmap) to achieve the value
Manage projects ensuring on time schedule, within budget and meeting all technical requirements as defined by the team.
Manage Projects Utilizing the CORE framework and tools
Document and maintain lessons learned through lifecycle of the projects
Provide technical, business and supply chain guidance to the S2P project team
Foster relationships with all internal and external stakeholders and business partners
Travel required ~ 20-30%
Qualification You Must Have:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field and 12 years’ of relevant work experience (or 10 years with an Advanced Degree)
Experience working with cross functional/cross business unit teams on high visibility projects with strong business acumen
Experience working with teams to define and implement IT Solution architecture or software
Ability to effectively communicate to stakeholders and external third parties
Ability to understand business processes, identify and mitigate risk
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple priorities with limited oversight
Extensive Sourcing and Contracting experience
Understanding of Supplier contract lifecycle management
Understanding of Sourcing Strategy and process
Strong knowledge of SAP including interface functionality
Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and other analytical tools
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
