As the Associate Director of Systems Engineering in our Computing Solutions Department, you will play a critical role in developing processing and graphics solutions for Avionics products, impacting both commercial and military environments. What YOU will do:Â
Lead the Development of Cutting-Edge Solutions: You will influence the requirements, design, integration, and packaging for complex silicon solutions, collaborating with suppliers to deliver functional capabilities, tools, and verification strategies.Â
Drive Product Roadmaps and Architectures: Develop product architectures and roadmaps while ensuring compliance with Avionics Engineering Processes and program requirements.Â
Mentor and Guide Teams: Mentor systems engineers and collaborate closely with hardware, software, and firmware teams to troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, and delegate tasks effectively.Â
Engage in Technical Proposal Development: Lead technical proposal development, including project planning, evaluation, and risk management of complex solutions.Â
Ensure Certification Compliance: Support the development of certification strategies and compliance activities for products in military and civil environments.Â
Qualifications You Must Have:Â
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of experience, or in the absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience.Â

8+ yearsâ experience in development spanning the entire product life cycle.Â
8+ yearsâ experience with regulatory and certification requirements for firmware, hardware, software, and systems in an aerospace environment.Â
Qualifications We Prefer:Â
A degree in Electrical, Computer, or Systems Engineering.Â
Demonstrated ability to lead large development teams with diverse skill sets and manage technical projects including schedule and earned value management, risk management, and customer interaction.Â
